Porto Urucu Airport (RPU) is a private airport serving the district of Porto Urucu in the municipality of Coari, Amazonas, in northern Brazil. It is operated by Petrobras and mainly supports the Urucu oil and natural gas province.
The airport was built as a support facility for the Urucu oil and natural gas province and the Urucu–Manaus pipeline. It has a single asphalt runway, 09/27, measuring approximately 1,320 metres, and handles domestic and general aviation traffic.
Located about 4 km from downtown Porto Urucu and around 470 km from downtown Coari, the airport sits in a remote part of the Amazon. Road access is limited, and most travelers reach the area by air; dedicated flights connect Porto Urucu with Manaus and Carauari.
Facilities are basic and focused on the needs of oil and gas personnel and general aviation. Onward transport within the region is usually arranged in advance.
