Tri-County Regional Airport is a publicly owned general aviation airport serving Lone Rock, Spring Green and the wider Sauk and Richland county area in southwestern Wisconsin. Opened in 1943, the airport supports private, business and recreational flying rather than scheduled commercial airline service.
Located about 2 miles north of Lone Rock, the airport sits in the River Valley and Driftless Region, close to Spring Green attractions such as Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin and the American Players Theatre. It is also within reasonable driving distance of Madison, Wisconsin Dells, Baraboo and Richland Center.
The airport operates two asphalt runways, with the main Runway 9/27 offering 5,000 feet for larger general aviation aircraft. There is no control tower, and the passenger terminal and pilot lounge provide basic amenities for visiting pilots and travelers.
