Tabatinga International Airport serves Tabatinga, a city in western Amazonas near the triple border shared by Brazil, Colombia and Peru. It is one of the main air access points for the Alto Solimões region, which is otherwise reached mainly by river or air.
The airport has a single passenger terminal and a 2,150 m asphalt runway. Its commercial operations include scheduled flights between Tabatinga and Manaus, while its international status also supports border-related traffic with neighbouring Colombia and Peru.
Located about 3 km from central Tabatinga, the airport is reached by taxi or private road transfer in a short drive. From the city, travellers can continue by road or river to Leticia in Colombia and other communities in the surrounding Amazon region.
The terminal was administered by Infraero from 1980 and has been operated by VINCI Airports since 2022, with recent works focused on safety and environmental improvements. Despite its compact size, the airport provides essential passenger facilities and a practical gateway to this remote border area.
