Swami Vivekananda Airport is the main airport serving Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh, and the wider central Indian region. Formerly known as Mana Airport, it was renamed in 2012 in honour of Swami Vivekananda and now functions as the principal air gateway for the state.
Located at Mana, about 15 km from central Raipur and roughly 10 km from the planned city of Naya Raipur, the airport connects the region to major Indian cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Chennai. Its single integrated terminal, inaugurated in November 2012, handles both arrivals and departures and includes facilities for domestic travel, with provisions for international operations.
