Stauning Vestjylland Airport is a regional airport in West Jutland, Denmark, serving Ringkøbing-Skjern Municipality and the surrounding area. Opened on 11 September 1965, it was established as a shared local airport for western Jutland and later supported scheduled domestic flights to Copenhagen for a period.
Today the airport mainly handles general aviation, business, private and charter flights, including traffic linked to North Sea offshore energy operations. It has a single compact terminal and one asphalt runway, and it is approved as a port of entry for flights from both Schengen and non-Schengen countries.
The airport is located about 4 km northwest of Stauning, roughly 13 km northwest of Skjern and around 16 km southeast of Ringkøbing. Travellers can continue by taxi, private transfer or rental car to towns such as Skjern, Ringkøbing, Hvide Sande and destinations along the west Jutland coast.
