St. Landry Parish Airport, also known as Ahart Field, is a public-use general aviation airport serving Opelousas and the surrounding St. Landry Parish in south-central Louisiana. Opened in October 1947, it provides a local base for private flying, business aviation, flight training, medical evacuation, and military operations.
Located about two nautical miles northwest of downtown Opelousas, the airport has two concrete runways: the primary 5,999-foot Runway 18/36 and the shorter 4,051-foot Runway 6/24. Aircraft services include 100LL and Jet A fueling, hangar and tie-down parking, and minor airframe and powerplant maintenance.
