The airstrip is used for scheduled and private charter flights, most commonly from Johannesburg, with a flight time of around one hour, and from Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport near Nelspruit. From the airstrip, guests are transferred by road to the Singita lodges in approximately ten minutes.
By road, the reserve is roughly 75 km from Hazyview and about 150 km from Nelspruit, while Johannesburg is considerably farther at around 500 km. These connections make the airstrip a practical entry point for safari travellers arriving by air.
