The airport resumed commercial flights in July 2024 after a runway extension and terminal renovation. It currently operates from a single passenger terminal, with a larger modern terminal under construction and expected to open around 2027.
Located approximately 21 km southeast of central Salerno, the airport is reached by the Salerno Airlink bus service to Salerno railway station, taxis, private transfers, car rental and road links. Connections continue from Salerno toward the Amalfi Coast and other regional destinations.
Passenger facilities include free Wi-Fi, a café and newsstand, an ATM, a pharmacy and special assistance services, making the airport a compact and convenient entry point for visitors to southern Campania.
