Ruston Regional Airport (RSN)

Ruston Regional Airport is a public-use general aviation airport serving Ruston, Lincoln Parish and northern Louisiana. The facility opened in the mid-1990s and is owned by the City of Ruston, supporting private pilots, corporate aircraft, air ambulance operations and the Louisiana Tech University professional aviation program.

The airport has a single terminal building housing Ruston Flying Service/Louisiana Aircraft, the fixed-base operator, together with a passenger lounge, pilot lounge and flight planning center. A 6,000-foot asphalt runway (18/36) accommodates training aircraft, corporate jets and medical evacuation helicopters, and Louisiana Tech operates from a modern Flight Operations Center on the airfield.

Located about 4 miles east of downtown Ruston, the airport is reached primarily by car, taxi, rideshare or pre-arranged transfer. It sits near the Interstate 20 corridor, giving travelers access to Ruston, Louisiana Tech University, Grambling State University and nearby cities such as Monroe and Shreveport.

With fuel, minor maintenance, on-site dining, Wi-Fi and parking, the airport functions as a practical general aviation gateway for the university and business communities of north Louisiana. Scheduled commercial flights are handled at nearby airports, while RSN supports private, corporate and training aviation.
