About Rewa Airport
Rewa Airport is the primary civilian airport serving Rewa and the surrounding Vindhya region of Madhya Pradesh. Operated by the Airports Authority of India, it connects the city to destinations under the UDAN regional connectivity scheme, improving access for residents of Rewa and neighbouring districts such as Satna, Sidhi and Singrauli.
A new passenger terminal was inaugurated in October 2024, replacing the earlier aerodrome infrastructure with a compact, modern building designed for regional operations. The airport has a single terminal handling all domestic flights, supported by a 1,400-metre runway suitable for ATR 72 aircraft and equipped with a night landing facility.
Located in the Chorhata area, the airport is approximately 11 km from Rewa city centre. Taxis, app-based cabs, local buses and private transfers connect the terminal to the city and nearby areas, with the road journey typically taking around 30 minutes under normal traffic conditions.
The terminal offers essential passenger facilities including food and beverage counters, retail outlets, a waiting lounge, free Wi-Fi, charging points, wheelchair assistance, parking and basic medical support. Its compact layout keeps check-in and security procedures straightforward, making it a convenient regional gateway for travellers.
