Raul Arias Espinoza Airport, also known as Contadora Airport, is a small domestic airfield serving Contadora Island in Panama's Pearl Islands archipelago. The airport connects the island with Panama City and other nearby islands and is used mainly by leisure travelers visiting the island's beaches and resorts.
The airport has a single short asphalt runway, about 700 metres long, which crosses the island and is suited to small aircraft. Passenger services operate from a compact terminal building, with no separate international terminal; all scheduled flights are domestic.
Contadora Island lies roughly 70 km southeast of Panama City. Because there is no road connection, the airport is the fastest public link to the mainland, with flights taking about 20 minutes, while ferries from the nearby pier take around two hours.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Panama completed improvement works at the airfield in 2025, including upgrades to the aircraft apron and communication station. Despite its small size, the airport is a practical gateway for visitors heading to Contadora's beaches, villas and island resorts.
