About Puerto Rico Airport
Puerto Rico Airport (PCC) is a small aerodrome serving the municipality of Puerto Rico in Colombia's Caquetá department. Located northeast of the town center, the airfield mainly supports general aviation, light aircraft and occasional charter operations rather than regular scheduled commercial flights.
The airport sits about 5 km from central Puerto Rico and provides a local entry point for the surrounding Amazon foothills region. For scheduled air services, travelers in the area commonly use Eduardo Falla Solano Airport in San Vicente del Caguán or Gustavo Artunduaga Paredes Airport in Florencia.
Ground access to the airport is by road, with taxis and private transfers available for the short journey into Puerto Rico. The road network also connects the municipality to Florencia and other towns in Caquetá.
The airfield has a single gravel runway and basic aviation facilities, reflecting its role as a small regional landing point. Travelers should plan ahead, as passenger services and amenities at the airport itself are limited.
