Antonio Roldán Betancur Airport is the main air gateway for Apartadó and the Urabá region in northwestern Colombia. It handles domestic flights connecting this part of Antioquia with Bogotá, Medellín and Quibdó.

Opened in 1989, the airport has since been modernized under the Air Plan concession, including runway upgrades that allow larger aircraft such as the Airbus A320 to operate. Today it serves both business and leisure travelers moving through the trade and agricultural centers of Urabá.
