Presidente Prudente Airport is the main airport serving Presidente Prudente and the western region of São Paulo state. Opened in 1939, it has long supported regional air travel and is today operated under a long-term concession aimed at modernizing its passenger infrastructure.
Located a short drive from the city centre, the airport connects the region to major domestic hubs through regular flights operated by Azul and GOL, as well as air taxi and general aviation services. It is one of the busiest airports in the interior of São Paulo and serves both business and leisure travellers.
The airport has a single passenger terminal, which is undergoing expansion to nearly double its area and improve boarding, arrivals and overall passenger flow.
