Praslin Island Airport (PRI)

Praslin Island Airport is the main domestic airport serving Praslin, the second-largest island of the Seychelles. Located near Grand Anse on the island's southwest coast, it provides the quickest air link between Praslin and Mahé through frequent Air Seychelles shuttle flights of around 15 to 20 minutes.

The airfield dates back to the early 1970s, when the Praslin airstrip became operational. It was expanded in the late 1990s to handle more passengers and larger aircraft, and the renovated airport was officially reopened in June 2001.

The airport operates a single compact terminal and one concrete runway. Because it is a domestic facility, passenger processes such as check-in, security and baggage collection are kept simple and compact.

From the terminal, travelers can continue by taxi, rental car or arranged transfer to Grand Anse, Baie Sainte Anne, Côte d'Or, Anse Lazio and other parts of Praslin, as well as to the Baie Sainte Anne ferry jetty for connections to La Digue and nearby islands.
