Prairie Du Chien Municipal Airport is a city-owned public-use airport serving Prairie du Chien and Crawford County in southwestern Wisconsin. It functions as a general aviation gateway to the Driftless Area and the upper Mississippi River valley, with no scheduled commercial airline service.
The airport was activated in 1947 and is located on the city's south side. It operates two asphalt runways: the primary runway 14/32 measuring 5,000 by 75 feet and the crosswind runway 11/29 measuring 3,999 by 75 feet, along with a modern terminal building completed in 2017.
The airport sits about 2 nautical miles southeast of downtown Prairie du Chien, with road access via US Highway 18 and roughly a 5–10 minute drive to the city center, riverfront and nearby Iowa communities across the Mississippi River.
Facilities include a pilot lounge, flight planning area, kitchenette, restrooms, internet access and on-site parking, along with 100LL and Jet A fuel. These make the airport a convenient stop for private pilots, business flights and visitors exploring the surrounding region.
