Užice-Ponikve Airport, also known as Ponikve Airport, serves the city of Užice and the wider Zlatibor district in western Serbia. Built between 1979 and 1983 for military use and later damaged during the 1999 NATO bombing, the airport was transferred to the City of Užice in 2011 and opened to civilian flights, with a new terminal building completed in 2016. Located about 12 km northwest of central Užice on the Ponikve plateau, the airport has a single 3,200-metre runway, one of the longest in the Balkans. The compact terminal focuses on general aviation, business aircraft and charter operations; as of early 2023 there are no regular scheduled commercial passenger flights. The airport is reached by road from Užice and connects travelers to popular mountain and tourism areas such as Zlatibor, Tara and Mokra Gora.
