Pantelleria Airport is the main air gateway to the island of Pantelleria, a volcanic island in the Strait of Sicily and part of the province of Trapani. Also known as Italo D'Amico Airport, it operates as a joint civil and military facility open to national and international commercial traffic.
Located in the Margana area about 4–5 km from Pantelleria town, the airport links the island year-round with Sicilian cities such as Trapani, Palermo and Catania through territorial-continuity flights. During the warmer months, seasonal services also connect Pantelleria with major Italian cities including Milan, Rome, Venice, Verona, Bologna and Bergamo.
The airport has a compact two-level passenger terminal where arrivals, departures, check-in and security are handled within one building. Onward travel is available by local bus, taxi, private hire, hotel shuttle and car or scooter rental, with the main town only a short drive away.
