About Oujda Angads Airport
Oujda Angads Airport is the main international airport serving Oujda and the Oriental region of northeastern Morocco, close to the Algerian border. The airport links the region with domestic destinations and a number of European cities served by Royal Air Maroc, Air Arabia Maroc, Ryanair and Transavia.
The airport dates back to 1951 and was used as a military airfield before developing into a civil airport. A new passenger terminal opened in December 2010, adding roughly 28,000 square metres of terminal space and significantly increasing passenger capacity, together with a 3,000-metre runway.
Located about 12 kilometres north of Oujda city centre, the airport is reached by road, with taxis, private transfers and car rental available for onward travel. It also serves as a gateway to destinations such as Saïdia, Berkane and Nador on the Mediterranean coast.
With its modern terminal, shops, cafés, lounge and onward travel options, the airport supports both leisure and business travel in the eastern part of Morocco.
