Ouadda Airport (ODA)

Ouadda Airport is a small rural airstrip serving the town of Ouadda in the Haute-Kotto prefecture of the Central African Republic. Located about 6 km south of the town centre, just off the RN5 road, it provides a basic air link for an area where road travel can be slow and difficult.

The airport has a single grass runway, approximately 1,505 metres long, and mainly handles general aviation, charter, and humanitarian flights rather than regular scheduled passenger services. Its public airstrip status and limited daytime, visual-flight operations make it a practical point of access for visitors and organisations travelling to this part of eastern Central African Republic.

Ouadda itself is a small town roughly 590 to 600 km northeast of Bangui, the national capital. Because the airstrip is several kilometres from the settlement and public transport is limited, arriving travellers should arrange road transport or a private transfer in advance.

Facilities at the airstrip are minimal, so passengers are advised to carry essential supplies and confirm all flight and ground arrangements ahead of time. Despite its basic infrastructure, the airport remains an important local gateway for the town and the wider Haute-Kotto region.
