About Ninoy Aquino International Airport

Ninoy Aquino International Airport is the main international gateway serving Manila and the wider Philippines. Originally established as Manila International Airport, it has operated from its current location south of the capital since 1948 and was renamed in 1987 in honor of Senator Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino Jr.

The airport is spread across four passenger terminals located in Pasay and Parañaque, roughly 7 km from central Manila. Terminal 1 handles most international carriers, Terminal 2 is used by Philippine Airlines for international and domestic flights, Terminal 3 serves a mix of international and domestic airlines including Cebu Pacific, and Terminal 4 handles domestic and regional services.

Ground connections to the city center, Makati and Bonifacio Global City include taxis, ride-hailing services such as Grab, point-to-point buses, hotel shuttles and private transfers. Free shuttle buses and road transport link the airport's separate terminals, which are not connected airside.

Travelers can find restaurants, cafés, shops, lounges, currency exchange and Wi-Fi across the terminals, along with accessibility and family services. As one of Southeast Asia's busiest hubs, NAIA links the Philippine capital to domestic islands and destinations across Asia, the Middle East, North America and Australia.
