N'Dolo Airport is a secondary airport serving Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo, located in the Barumbu commune close to the city centre. Unlike the capital's main international gateway at N'Djili, it primarily handles domestic, charter, business and humanitarian flights and shares the site with the DRC Air Force air base.
The airfield has a long history: the Aviation militaire de la Force Publique was established there in October 1940 with requisitioned aircraft, and the site later hosted the head office of Air Kasaï. Since the 1996 Antonov accident, runway operations have been restricted to aircraft below 15,000 kg.
The airport has a single asphalt runway and a compact passenger area. Its central position, roughly 4 km southeast of central Kinshasa, makes road transfers by taxi or private vehicle relatively short, though travel times vary with traffic.
