Nanuque Airport, also known as Jorge Schieber Airport, is a small regional airport serving Nanuque and the Mucuri Valley in the northeast of Minas Gerais, Brazil. Located about 3.5 kilometres from the city centre, it connects the town with Belo Horizonte and other parts of the state while also supporting general aviation.
The airport has a paved runway approximately 1,200 metres long and operates mainly during daylight hours under visual flight rules. It has historically hosted scheduled services, including Varig and Transbrasil flights between Belo Horizonte and Salvador that stopped in Nanuque, and in 2018 the Voe Minas Gerais project resumed a Nanuque–Belo Horizonte link via Teófilo Otoni.
Situated close to the borders with Bahia and Espírito Santo, Nanuque Airport serves as a useful access point for travellers visiting the Vale do Mucuri region and nearby towns such as Carlos Chagas and Teófilo Otoni, which lies around 160 kilometres away by road.
