About Namangan International Airport
Namangan International Airport is the main airport serving the city of Namangan and the surrounding Fergana Valley in eastern Uzbekistan. Opened in 1971, it has held international status since 2013 and currently handles flights from nine commercial airlines.
Located about 12 km from central Namangan, the airport supports domestic routes and international connections to destinations in Russia and other countries. It functions as an important regional gateway for both leisure and business travellers across the Fergana Valley.
The airport has a single passenger terminal with domestic and international areas, and a renovated arrivals hall opened in September 2023. A new three-storey passenger terminal is under construction and is scheduled to open by the end of 2026, adding integrated border and customs control, a visa service, a business lounge, retail and dining areas and a duty-free shop.
Namangan International Airport is connected to the city by taxi, car rental, private transfers and road links, making onward travel to central Namangan and nearby towns straightforward.
