About Nador International Airport
Nador International Airport is the main airport serving Nador and the wider Oriental region of northeastern Morocco. It links the area with domestic destinations and several European routes, and serves as a gateway to the Mediterranean coast and the nearby city of Melilla.
Located near Al Aaroui and approximately 25 km south of Nador, the airport is reached mainly by road using taxis, private transfers, chauffeur services and rental cars. A new passenger terminal opened in July 2021, expanding capacity to around two million passengers a year and improving the airport's check-in, security and arrivals areas.
The airport serves leisure and business travelers and is especially active in summer, when connections to Europe increase. Its compact terminal layout makes arrivals and departures relatively straightforward for passengers.
With cafés, shops, lounges, parking and onward travel options, it is the region's main air gateway for visitors heading to Nador, the coast and the surrounding Rif area.
