Mukhaizna Airport (UKH)

Mukhaizna Airport is a small, remote aerodrome serving the Mukhaizna oil field in south-central Oman. Located in Al Wusta Governorate, it mainly supports flights arranged on behalf of Occidental Mukhaizna, while other traffic requires prior permission. Its single asphalt runway measures 2,500 metres and includes 300-metre overruns at each end.

The airport sits about 7 km west of the Mukhaizna oil-field production camp, roughly 90 km southwest of Haima and some 650 km from Muscat. Because it is built around oil-field operations, passenger traffic is limited and generally pre-arranged rather than provided as a scheduled public service.

Facilities are minimal: the aerodrome has a small passenger area and aircraft stands, but no hotels or public restaurants at the terminal. Accommodation and dining are available at the Oxy camp by prior arrangement, a clinic is about 8 km away, and an ATM can be found at the Oman Oil petrol station.

Road transport is usually arranged in advance through the operator, with onward travel possible to Haima, Duqm and other locations in the wider region. Mukhaizna Airport therefore functions as a dedicated gateway for the oil field and its workforce rather than a conventional commercial airport.
