Moulay Ali Cherif Airport is the main airport serving Errachidia and the Drâa-Tafilalet region of south-eastern Morocco. Its modern passenger terminal opened in January 2019, replacing the earlier facilities and raising capacity to around 300,000 passengers a year.
The airport operates a single terminal of about 3,500 m² located roughly 3 km north of the city centre. It handles domestic and international flights, with Royal Air Maroc linking Errachidia to Casablanca and Rabat and other carriers adding services to destinations within Morocco and Europe.
There is no railway connection at the airport, so most travellers continue by taxi or pre-arranged private transfer into Errachidia, or head onward by road to the Ziz Valley, Todra Gorge, Dades Gorge and the Merzouga desert.
With a compact, easy-to-navigate terminal offering a café, seating, Wi-Fi, a VIP lounge and parking, the airport serves as a practical gateway for visitors exploring south-eastern Morocco.
