Montenegro Airport (QGF) is a small municipal aerodrome serving Montenegro, in the Vale do Caí area of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Known officially as Hélio Alves de Oliveira Airport, it supports general aviation, aeroclub activity and private flights rather than scheduled commercial passenger services.
The aerodrome operates a grass runway of about 920 metres and is used mainly during daylight under visual flight rules. Its facilities are simple and geared to private and instructional aviation, with no commercial passenger terminal.
Located about 8 km southwest of central Montenegro and roughly 55 km northwest of Porto Alegre, the airfield is reached by road via ERS-124. Travellers continue by private car, taxi or arranged road transfer.
Although it is not a commercial gateway, the aerodrome serves the local flying community and provides an additional access point to the Porto Alegre metropolitan region.
