Manitowoc County Airport is a county-owned public-use airport located about three miles northwest of downtown Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Opened in 1937, it serves as the region's general aviation hub for private, business, charter and air taxi aircraft.
The airport has two asphalt runways, a main runway of about 5,000 feet and a crosswind runway of about 3,300 feet, and operates without a control tower. Passenger services are centered on a small terminal building and fixed-base operator, Lakeshore Aviation, which provides fuel, aircraft parking, and crew and passenger amenities.
Although scheduled airline service ended in the early 1980s, the airport remains an important aviation gateway for Manitowoc County, the Lake Michigan shoreline and nearby attractions such as Whistling Straits and Road America.
