Malolo Lailai Island Airport is a small island airstrip located on Malolo Lailai in the Mamanuca Islands, part of Fiji's Western Division. It primarily serves guests travelling to island resorts such as Musket Cove Resort, Lomani Island Resort and Plantation Island Resort, along with general aviation traffic.
The airfield consists of a single grass and dirt runway that runs across the narrow island and is typically used for daylight flights under visual flight rules. Most scheduled services are short flights connecting the island with Nadi International Airport, taking around ten minutes, with operations managed independently rather than by Fiji Airports Ltd.
Located roughly 20 kilometres offshore from Nadi, the airport provides a convenient alternative to the longer ferry journey from Port Denarau, which takes around 50 minutes by catamaran. On arrival, travellers are usually met by resort staff and continue by buggy, on foot or by boat to nearby accommodation.
The airport has one compact open-air terminal with a basic check-in area and sheltered waiting space. Facilities are minimal, but the island's resorts, a medical centre, a small supermarket and waterfront dining and shopping options are all within easy reach of the runway.
