Los Cabos International Airport is the main airport serving San José del Cabo, Cabo San Lucas, and the wider Los Cabos region at the southern tip of Baja California Sur. Opened in 1977 and operated by Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico, it connects one of Mexico's leading tourism destinations with domestic routes across the country and international flights, particularly from the United States and Canada.
The airport is located about 11 kilometres north of central San José del Cabo and roughly 35 kilometres from Cabo San Lucas, close to the Transpeninsular Highway that links the two towns and the hotels along the corridor.
Its terminal infrastructure includes areas for domestic and international operations as well as a dedicated facility for private aviation, with restaurants, shops, lounges, car rental desks, and other passenger services.
