Playa de Oro International Airport is the main airport serving Manzanillo and the surrounding Costalegre region in the state of Colima. Opened in 1974, it handles domestic and international air traffic for the Manzanillo area and parts of southern Jalisco, functioning as an important gateway for beach tourism.
Located approximately 26 km northwest of central Manzanillo, the airport operates through a single compact passenger terminal of about 4,700 square meters, with arrivals and departures in one building. It is operated by Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico and serves routes to Mexico City as well as seasonal and scheduled international destinations in the United States and Canada.
