Kullu–Manali Airport, also called Bhuntar Airport, is a domestic airport serving the towns of Kullu and Manali in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. Located at Bhuntar in the Kullu Valley, it sits about 11 km from Kullu town and roughly 52 km from Manali, making it a key air gateway for visitors heading to the region's mountain resorts and trekking areas.
The airport's modern terminal building was inaugurated in 2008, when the apron was also enlarged to park two aircraft at a time. It handles domestic flights from a single terminal, with regional services connecting Kullu to cities such as Delhi and Dehradun, subject to seasonal and weather-dependent scheduling.
Situated beside the Beas River, the airport is reached by road from Bhuntar, with taxis, private transfers and HRTC buses linking it to Kullu, Manali and surrounding villages. Kullu is typically around 20–30 minutes away, while Manali generally takes about 1.5 to 2 hours by road.
