Kishangarh Airport is a domestic airport serving Ajmer, Kishangarh and the wider Ajmer district in central Rajasthan. Opened on 11 October 2017 and operated by the Airports Authority of India, it was developed to improve regional air connectivity for pilgrims, business travelers and residents.
Located about 27 km northeast of Ajmer on National Highway 48, the airport provides domestic flights to cities such as Delhi, Ahmedabad and Pune, operated mainly by Star Air and IndiGo. Its compact integrated terminal is designed for regional turboprop operations and handles arrivals and departures within a single building.
The airport is a practical gateway to the Ajmer Sharif Dargah in Ajmer and the Brahma Temple in Pushkar, two of the region's most visited pilgrimage sites, and supports Kishangarh's marble industry and business traffic.
Ground access is primarily by road, with taxis, auto-rickshaws and private vehicles available outside the terminal. Kishangarh Junction railway station offers additional rail connections, and onward travel to Ajmer, Pushkar and other Rajasthan destinations is straightforward.
