Karlovy Vary Airport serves the spa town of Karlovy Vary and the Karlovy Vary Region in western Bohemia. Opened in 1929, it has long been linked to spa tourism and today functions as a compact international airport for scheduled and charter flights.
Located in Olšová Vrata, about 5 km southeast of the city centre, the airport has a single passenger terminal. A modern departure hall opened in 2009 connects to the reconstructed original terminal building from the 1930s.
