Veer Surendra Sai Airport is a domestic airport serving Jharsuguda and the surrounding region of western Odisha. Named after the freedom fighter Veer Surendra Sai, it was inaugurated in 2018 and became the second commercial airport in the state.
Located in Durlaga village, about 5 km northeast of Jharsuguda city centre, the airport acts as a gateway to districts such as Sambalpur, Sundergarh and Bargarh, as well as nearby parts of Chhattisgarh.
