About Jeki Airstrip
Jeki Airstrip is a small domestic airstrip serving Lower Zambezi National Park in Zambia. It is the main air access point for many of the safari camps and lodges along the Zambezi River, with scheduled flights operated by Proflight Zambia.
Located in Jeki, just north of the Zambezi River, the airstrip connects the Lower Zambezi with Lusaka, about 120 km away, and with seasonal flights from Mfuwe and Livingstone. The flight from Lusaka takes around 35 minutes, making it a practical option for fly-in safaris.
The airstrip has a single runway and a basic passenger area, so the arrival experience is deliberately simple. Guests are met on the apron by lodge staff and safari vehicles and continue directly to their camps.
Because the airstrip sits close to many of the park's riverside camps, onward transfers are short. It functions as a compact, convenient gateway for travelers heading into the Lower Zambezi.
