Jagdalpur Airport, officially Maa Danteshwari Airport, is a domestic airport serving Jagdalpur, the administrative headquarters of the Bastar district in Chhattisgarh. It acts as the region's main air link, connecting this remote area with major Indian cities and supporting tourism, business and local travel.
Located in the Hatkachora area about 3 km from the city centre, the airport was upgraded to a 3C category airfield in 2019 to handle ATR-72 aircraft. Scheduled commercial services began on 21 September 2020 when Alliance Air started flights to Hyderabad and Raipur under the regional connectivity scheme, following the opening of the passenger terminal.
The airport has a single compact integrated terminal with check-in counters, security screening, a waiting lounge and baggage claim. Its small size allows for straightforward passenger processing and short walking distances between the entrance, check-in and boarding areas.
Ground connections to Jagdalpur are simple, with taxis, auto-rickshaws and private vehicles available at the terminal, and the city's railway station and bus stand a short drive away.
