The airstrip has a single sand runway, designated 03/21, suited to the light and medium-sized turboprop aircraft commonly used for safari charters. Most guests arrive on private or lodge-arranged flights from Johannesburg's OR Tambo International Airport, with flight arrangements coordinated through the lodge or a charter operator.
Because the airstrip sits inside the reserve, arrival transfers are short. Guests are met beside the aircraft by lodge rangers and driven about 10 minutes to Inyati Game Lodge. The nearest town with broader services, Hazyview, is roughly 45 km away, while Skukuza Airport and Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport provide scheduled flights with longer road transfers to the reserve.
