Indira Gandhi International Airport is the main international airport serving New Delhi and the wider National Capital Region. Located at Palam in southwest Delhi, it is the busiest airport in India and a major gateway for both domestic and international travel.
The airport operates three passenger terminals. Terminal 3, opened in 2010, is the main integrated terminal handling all international flights and selected domestic services, while Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 primarily serve domestic traffic.
