About Henderson Executive Airport
Henderson Executive Airport is a public general and business aviation airport serving Henderson and the southern Las Vegas Valley. It operates as a primary reliever to Harry Reid International Airport, providing a convenient alternative for private, corporate and general aviation traffic.
The airport was established in 1969 as Sky Harbor and purchased by the Clark County Department of Aviation in 1996, when it was renamed Henderson Executive Airport. It has since been expanded with two parallel runways, a modern 24,000-square-foot terminal opened in 2006, a dedicated air traffic control tower and more than 80 acres of aircraft ramp space.
Located about 12 miles south of the Las Vegas Strip in West Henderson, the airport offers easy access to Interstate 15 and the 215 Beltway. Rental cars, planeside limousine service and private transfer options connect arriving passengers to the Strip, downtown Las Vegas, Lake Mead and surrounding business and resort areas.
Passenger amenities include meeting rooms, a pilot lounge with showers and sleeping quarters, complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi and a full-service bar and restaurant, making it a practical gateway for corporate travelers and private aviation visitors to Southern Nevada.
Terminal Overview
Terminals
Henderson Executive Airport operates from a single modern passenger terminal opened in 2006.
