Guerrero Negro Airport is a small regional airport serving Guerrero Negro and the northern part of Baja California Sur. The town is best known as a base for gray whale watching at Laguna Ojo de Liebre and for its saltworks, making the airport a practical entry point for visitors travelling to this part of the Baja California peninsula.
The airport handles domestic passenger flights and general aviation, and shares its site with a Mexican Air Force station. It has a single asphalt runway of about 2,200 metres, together with an apron, hangars and one compact terminal building served by a control tower.
Located a few kilometres north of Guerrero Negro, the airport is connected to the town by Highway 1, with taxis, private transfers and rental cars available for the short journey.
