Guemar Airport is the airport serving El Oued and the wider Oued Souf region in northeastern Algeria. Opened to civil aviation in 1955, it lies near the community of Guemar, about 17 km north of El Oued, and plays a central role in connecting this Saharan region with the rest of the country.
The airport has a single passenger terminal and two runways, and it mainly handles domestic services operated by Air Algérie, particularly flights to and from Algiers. Its modest size keeps passenger flows straightforward, with check-in, security and arrivals concentrated within one terminal building.
