General Enrique Mosconi Airport (TTG)

General Enrique Mosconi Airport is a small public aerodrome serving Tartagal and northern Salta Province, with the town of General Mosconi located close to the airfield. It is part of Argentina's National Airport System and is operated by the Province of Salta.

The airport sits about 7 km south of Tartagal and a short distance from General Mosconi, with road access through National Route 34. It was established in the mid-20th century and named after the Argentine military engineer Enrique Mosconi; renovation work completed in January 2011 extended and widened the asphalt runway and improved the platform, parking and access road.

The facility has a single small passenger terminal, essentially a waiting room, and no control tower, lighting or radio aids. Scheduled commercial flights are not currently operating, and the aerodrome is mainly used for general aviation, air taxi, agricultural work, oil and gas industry services and provincial or state aircraft.

For onward travel, the access road and National Route 34 connect the airport to Tartagal, General Mosconi and other points in the region, making road transfers and private ground transportation the most practical options for passengers.
