About Fergana International Airport
Fergana International Airport is the main airport serving the city of Fergana, the administrative centre of the Fergana Region in eastern Uzbekistan. The airport was established in 1938 and today handles regular domestic services to Tashkent as well as international flights to cities in Russia, including Moscow and Saint Petersburg.
Located within the city and approximately 5 km from the centre, the airport can be reached by local transport in around 10–15 minutes. It operates from a single passenger terminal used for both domestic and international flights, with customs and border control facilities on site.
The airport serves as a practical gateway to the Fergana Valley and nearby destinations such as Margilan, Kokand and Andijan. Passengers can continue their journey by taxi, local transport, private transfers or rental car.
