About Eindhoven Airport
Eindhoven Airport is the main international airport serving Eindhoven and the surrounding North Brabant region in the southern Netherlands. Opened in 1932 as Welschap Airfield, it has grown into the second-largest airport in the Netherlands after Amsterdam Schiphol.
Located about 8 km west of central Eindhoven, the airport operates a single modern passenger terminal shared with the adjacent Eindhoven Air Base. It offers connections to a wide range of European destinations and serves both leisure and business travellers.
The airport is connected to Eindhoven by shuttle and city buses that stop directly next to the terminal, as well as taxis, private transfers and road links, making onward travel to the city centre and the surrounding region straightforward.
With shops, cafés and restaurants, a lounge, free Wi-Fi, a panorama terrace and passenger assistance services, the terminal is designed to keep departures and arrivals compact and easy to navigate.
