The airport's modern integrated passenger terminal opened in April 2008, replacing and upgrading earlier facilities. It handles both domestic and international operations under one roof, with dedicated check-in, security, immigration and arrivals areas.
Located at Sonegaon, about 8 km southwest of central Nagpur, the airport is reachable by taxi, app-based rides, car rental and Nagpur Metro feeder services, making onward travel into the city relatively straightforward.
Passengers can use restaurants, cafés, shops, duty-free retail, lounges, free Wi-Fi, charging points and accessibility services, supporting both business and leisure travel through one of central India's key air gateways.
