About Daman Airport
Daman Airport, also known as NAMO Airport, is the main air gateway for the city of Daman and the union territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu. It operates as a dual-purpose civil facility within the Indian Coast Guard Air Station at Daman and serves domestic regional flights.
The civil terminal was inaugurated in June 2026, with the foundation stone laid in April 2023. The 3,700-square-metre building can handle around 14 ATR flights a day and has an annual passenger capacity of approximately 367,000. Alliance Air began the airport's first direct service by connecting Daman with Delhi in July 2026.
Located close to central Daman and the industrial belt around Vapi, Valsad and Silvassa, the airport supports business travel, tourism and regional trade. Initial operations use ATR-type aircraft, while plans call for a runway extension to allow larger aircraft and additional routes.
Passengers can reach the airport by taxi, private transfer and local road links, with onward connections to Daman's beaches, hotels and nearby destinations across the region.
