Chachapoyas Airport is a domestic airport serving Chachapoyas, the capital of the Amazonas Region in northern Peru. Located about 6 km from the city centre, it is the region's main commercial air gateway and also receives flights operated by the Peruvian Air Force.
The airport began operations on 24 November 1984 and was later modernized before being concessioned to Aeropuertos del Perú. It has a single asphalt runway of approximately 1,980 metres and one compact passenger terminal handling domestic services.
Commercial flights connect Chachapoyas with Lima and regional destinations, making the airport a practical entry point for travellers visiting the area's historic and natural attractions, including the Kuelap fortress and the Gocta Waterfall.
