Oscar Laranjeira Airport, commonly known as Caruaru Airport, is the regional airport serving the city of Caruaru in the Agreste region of Pernambuco, northeastern Brazil. The site's aviation history dates back to 1944 with the founding of the Caruaru flying club, and the airport was later formally established for public use in 1985.
The airport serves domestic regional traffic, with Azul Conecta operating flights between Caruaru and Recife and linking the Agreste region to a larger national and international hub. After a period without regular services, commercial flights resumed in November 2020 following terminal improvements, and the airport is currently managed by Dix Aeroportos.
Located approximately 5 km from the centre of Caruaru, the airport is easy to reach by taxi, ride-hailing services, private transfers and rental cars. Its single passenger terminal and single asphalt runway keep the passenger journey simple and compact.
